Supporting the Gymnast Shoulder
Shoulder pain is common in men’s and women’s gymnastics, typically due to overuse of some muscles and underuse of others. This lecture focuses on learning about the shoulder complex and how to incorporate specific exercises into practice and conditioning that can reduce the risk of shoulder injuries and pain.

Considerations for training modification during growth spurts and how to recognize growth spurts in your athletes to decrease risk of growth-related injuries. These often coincide with progression in levels and more training hours and can be challenging to recognize.
