Thrive, Don’t Just Survive: Mental Health Stategies for Gymnastics Coaches
Saturday Professional Development
Session Summary

This session is designed to empower gymnastics coaches with practical mental health strategies to enhance their well-being and resilience. Coaching is a demanding role that often requires coaches to prioritize others’ needs, leaving little time for self-care. In this lecture, we’ll dive into the common mental health challenges coaches face, from burnout and stress to maintaining work-life balance. Attendees will learn evidence-based techniques to manage stress, build emotional resilience, and foster a healthier mindset, enabling them to support their athletes more effectively. By prioritizing their mental health, coaches can shift from merely surviving the demands of their role to truly thriving—both in and out of the gym.
